Richard Wright and Barkerville’s Theatre Royal are taking their show on the road to bring a smile to the faces of people forced from their homes by B.C.’s wildfires. The first benefit performance will be held Sunday, July 23rd at the outdoor theatre in LeBourdais Park, Quesnel. “Mrs. McGinley’s Gold Rush Variety Show” is a high-energy production appropriate for all ages. The multi-talented cast of five bring together dancing, singing and historic costumes for an hour packed full of entertainment.

Richard and Theatre Royal are currently seeking more venues and sponsors so they can keep the shows free for evacuees and the communities that host them. If you or anyone in your community can help, please let Richard or Emily Lindstrom (Theatre Royal Tour Manager) know. You can reach them at:

Please support Theatre Royal as they bring a little sunshine into the lives of the evacuees, others affected by the B.C. wildfires and the emergency crews fighting the flames.
